What is the Technology for the PoliticsNationwide.com network?

ArrowClick Site Manager
The ArrowClick Site Manager is the core PoliticsNationwide.com network technology which will enable elected incumbents, candidates who seek election to public office, candidate and issue campaigns, political party official and auxiliary organizations, volunteer organizations, interest groups, professional and trade associations, political action committees, think-tanks, academic institutions, political consultants and political fundraisers and lobbyists, to build, manage and house websites on the PoliticsNationwide.com network of urls and web addresses.
Paid Members of the PoliticsNationwide.com network will be given a master administrative login during the registration process. The information that will be collected during registration for Membership in the PoliticsNationwide.com network will form the foundation of a Member's political and advocacy websites and webpages to be housed on the PoliticsNationwide.com network. Members will be able to:
- choose from several different layout designs, and have detailed control over the security, content as well as the "look and feel" of their website and webpages built and housed on the PoliticsNationwide.com network;
- control access to their site and pages and designate which individuals may have access to add, remove and change content; and
- choose colors, fonts and layouts for their websites and webpages built and housed on the PoliticsNationwide.com network.
When a PoliticsNationwide.com network Member completes using the PoliticsNationwide.com system to build a basic system for housing their political and advocacy website on the PoliticsNationwide.com network, they will be prompted to add content by using either a Netscape or Microsoft web browser and Microsoft Word, or by using any WYSIWIG editing program. Subsequently Members will be able to add new pages and content to their websites and webpages built and housed on the PoliticsNationwide.com network at any time.
Paid Members of the PoliticsNationwide.com network using the network's Site Manger will also have a wide variety of add-ons from which to choose, including but not limited to:
- a link to the PoliticsNationwide.com network's online donation system, to take monetary contributions donated to them online;
- a page for recruiting volunteers;
- a personal events calendar which is open to public users of the PoliticsNationwide.com network, while the Members retain administrative control over it;
- an email management system to create internal databases of the PoliticsNationwide.com network's users from the general public who visit the Member's political and advocacy website housed on the PoliticsNationwide.com network and register there;
- create targeted newsletters to PoliticsNationwide.com network users who register their email address as well as other personal and professional information each Member chooses to collect on a political and advocacy website and webpage built and housed by the Member on the PoliticsNationwide.com network.
No Member of the PoliticsNationwide.com network building and housing political and advocacy websites on the PoliticsNationwide.com network needs to know how to work with HTML, XML and advanced web technologies. If the persons with administrative and security access to Member political and advocacy websites and webpages built and housed on the PoliticsNationwide.com network can work with basic office software, they will already have the skills necessary to fully utilize the security, administrative and content features for their political and advocacy websites and webpages built and housed on the PoliticsNationwide.com network.

ArrowClick Content Manager
The ArrowClick Content Manager for the PoliticsNationwide.com network will enable administrators of political and advocacy websites and webpages built and housed by paid Members of the PoliticsNationwide.com network to add, modify and delete content from the site without having any prior knowledge of HTML, XML and advanced web technologies.
Administrative users will be able to add a document to their site, such as press releases and news stories, and "attach" these documents to the types of content they want displayed. These may be attached to a variety of designated urls and web addresses which are enabled to permit searches by level of government, branch of government, political party, state and issues. For example, a user from the general public visiting a url and web address provided by the PoliticsNationwide.com network could seek out all news releases pertaining to the environment released by Democrats in California, and the result of that search will list any document which meets this criteria.
Each paid Member of the PoliticsNationwide.com network will have a designated profile that will classify their content and determine which of the PoliticsNationwide.com network's urls, web addresses and categories where it is most appropriate for that content to appear.

ArrowClick Online Donation Manager
The ArrowClick Online Donation Manager will permit each paid Member of the PoliticsNationwide.com network who is accepting monetary contributions from visitors to their political and advocacy websites housed on the PoliticsNationwide.com network to have their own merchant account. There will be no commingling of any monies received by any paid Member utilizing the Online Donation System of the PoliticsNationwide.com network with the monies received by any other paid Member, or with any monies received in any merchant accounts for the PoliticsNationwide.com network.
The PoliticsNationwide.com network's online donation system is designed to be F.E.C. and 50-state compliant, with fundraising rules and regulations already pre-programmed.
Individual merchant accounts, Visa/MasterCard and check debit processing will be provided by a third-party already providing complete solutions for payment processing needs to merchants, banks and collection agencies, including but not limited to debit and credit card processing, check guarantee, check verification, check conversion, check re-presentation, check collection and inventory tracking.

ArrowClick Event Manager
The ArrowClick Event Manager will permit each paid Member of the PoliticsNationwide.com network who is hosting events to disseminate information about them. The PoliticsNationwide.com network's Event Manager system is designed to target the promotion of these events to the general public who visit specific urls and web addresses in the PoliticsNationwide.com network, and who search for subsets of events by branch of government, level of government, political party, state and issues, whenever applicable. For example, information about events pertaining to the oil industry that is released by Republicans in Texas will appear on the PoliticsNationwide.com websites which correspond to these preferences.
