Ares Peer To Peer and The Like

Peer-to-peer file sharing software are very similar with each other in terms of capabilities and features. Choice of usage most of the times comes down to the ease and the ergonomics of the application’s interface. That being said, Ares sports a very sleek, and easy to follow design. Its look doesn’t vary much from other stand-alone clients of its kind though, containing the same but effective buttons and tabs including options for searching digital files such as audio, video, images, documents, softwares and the likes. Competition today is at its highest and so Ares has put up one extra feature that could really boost up its popularity and put it on top of the rest – its capability to let you connect with other users through the use of their chat rooms and channels.

One downside for the Ares software, though, is its availability for other operating systems considering that more and more people are switching to Mac these days. Ares, now with its Vista version, is still only compatible with Windows up to this point. Known alternative clients that are ready to connect with Ares include Warez P2P, FilePipe, KCeasy, FileCroc, iGotcha, and Poisoned, with the last two programs designed for Mac users. The list goes on and on for applications comparable to Ares with Limewire, Azureus and eMule leading the competition in terms of popularity.
